RIP Keith Chegwin (17/01/57-11/12/17)

Our whole village is very upset at the sad and untimely death of Keith Chegwin this week, who lived here for more than 20 years,  before moving to Shropshire earlier this year. We all knew him well and he was the life and soul of any party. Below are some of our fond memories of Keith.

 Football Game

The village held a mini football tournament in October hosted by the charity Kensington Trust.

The Kensington Trust supports marginalised young people in West London and the idea of the mini tournament was for the youngsters and their families to get out and experience the countryside and play some football in a relaxed environment.

A local team Woolton Hill Argyle joined with our own youngsters to play matches against the team from West London.

A lovely time was had by all and the afternoon ended with cake, drinks and a prize giving in the village hall.
