Merlin

The Orchard help and advice centre is located in White Hart Lane overlooking the War Memorial Park in Basingstoke.  It is a community building housing local charities and community initiatives, and provides a focal point for voluntary and community activity in the borough.

Open Monday to Thursday 9am until 9pm, Friday 9am until 4pm, and Saturday 9am until 5pm by prior arrangement

The Community Furniture Project

This is a local charity that promotes the re-use of furniture, household goods, electrical items and toys at low cost to people in Basingstoke, Newbury and the surrounding towns and villages.

It has also launched a project co-ordinated nationally by Dulux, BIFFA and SWAP to which usable leftover paint can be donated for use by those who need it.
